# Publishing & history

Publish in the editor shows what changed since the last release, takes a title and notes, and puts a new release live in one step.

Readers never see a half-published site. The **Releases** page lists every release with what it changed, page by page and line by line, and any earlier release can be put back live as a new one. Each page has a full **history** of its revisions, showing what restoring one would change.

**Preview** shows the drafts as readers would see them, and an expiring **preview link** can be shared with people outside the workspace. The whole site or one page can be saved as a PDF.
