# Git sync

Git sync lets customers keep their docs in a GitHub or GitLab repository: a push to the branch shows up in JustDocs, and every publish goes back as a commit.

GitLab can be gitlab.com or your own GitLab. It's optional, and a plan feature when billing is on.
