# Launch checklist

Do these in order before inviting customers.

Later items depend on earlier ones, so testing them as one chain tells you more than checking settings one by one. Items marked optional are features you can leave off.

| Order | Owner action | Launch test |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | Set the production address, HTTPS, site name, logos, colours, timezone and language. | Open the homepage, sign-in, sign-up, the app and the admin on a desktop and a phone, in light and dark mode. |
| 2 | Configure email. | Send the test email, sign up a new account and confirm it, invite a member, reset a password. |
| 3 | Install the scheduler cron line. | Site settings → Git sync and → Domains stop warning that the scheduler isn't running. |
| 4 | Choose storage and upload limits. | Upload an image and a file to a page, publish, and open both from the published docs. |
| 5 | Review security and compliance: 2FA, captcha, email checks, the link policy, cookies, account deletion. | Sign up with 2FA on, try a wrong site password five times, delete a test account. |
| 6 | Sign in with Google (optional). | Sign in with a Google account and land in the app. |
| 7 | Add the platform's AI account and budget (optional). | Send the test question in Settings → AI, then ask a question in a published site. |
| 8 | Turn on analytics and choose how countries are found. | Open a published page, then see it in the site's Insights. |
| 9 | Set up HTTPS for customers' domains (optional). | Connect a test domain and see it reach Live. |
| 10 | Create the GitHub App or GitLab application (optional). | Connect a test repository, push a change, publish, and see the commit. |
| 11 | When billing is on: payments, invoices, taxes, and the plans. | Subscribe in the sandbox, hit a limit, see the upgrade prompt, cancel. |
| 12 | Back up, rehearse a restore, and read the update steps. | Restore the backup on a staging copy and sign in. |

**Final smoke test:** register a new customer, create a workspace and a site, write a page with a heading, a list, a code block and an image, publish it, open the published docs, search for a word on the page, switch to dark mode, ask Ask AI a question, and add a custom domain.
