# Pusher Websockets

Pusher is a managed Websockets service, offering simplicity and reliability. To set it up:

1. Log in to the [Pusher Dashboard](https://dashboard.pusher.com/) and navigate to the [Channels](https://dashboard.pusher.com/channels) category.
2. Click `Create app`, then provide a `Name` and choose a `Cluster Region` based on your preference.
3. Access your app details, or visit [Apps](https://dashboard.pusher.com/apps) and select your app.
4. Copy the `App ID`, `Key`, `Secret`, and `Cluster` values from Pusher, then save them to the admin panel under `Admin > Settings > Websockets`.

**Note:** When using Pusher-based Websockets, the maximum message length is limited to 800 characters.
