# Database Setup

You need a MySQL or MariaDB database ready for the script.

If using cPanel, go to **MySQL Databases** or the **MySQL Database Wizard** to create a new database and user.

- **Create a new database** (e.g., `myapp_db`).
- **Create a new user** (e.g., `myapp_user`) with a secure password.
- **Assign the user** to the database, ensuring it has *ALL PRIVILEGES* or the privileges required by your script.

Once done, you should have the following info:

- Database Name (e.g., `myapp_db`)
- Database Username (e.g., `myapp_user`)
- Database Password (e.g., `123456`)
- Database Host (often `localhost`)
