# Email

Open Admin → Settings → Emails.

Email is used for verification, password resets, team invitations, 2FA, approvals, billing notices, trials, and operational notifications.

| Driver | Use | Notes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| SMTP | Most transactional email services | Enter host, port, encryption, username, password, sender name, and sender address. |
| Mailgun | Mailgun API transport | Enter the sending domain, secret, and regional endpoint where applicable. |
| Sendmail | Server-provided mail transport | Use only when the host maintains deliverability and the sendmail binary. |
| Log | Local development | Writes messages to logs instead of delivering them. Never use for a customer launch. |

Use a domain-authenticated sender and configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC with your mail provider. Trial, expiry, and cancellation notices use the standard transactional email template, so this page only configures delivery and sender identity.
