Tables

Rows and columns for facts readers compare.

Tables suit facts that line up: options and what they do, plans and their limits, settings and their defaults. Turn on the heading row in the block's menu.

Good tables

  • Put what readers look up in the first column.
  • Keep cells short. When a cell needs a paragraph, a list under a heading reads better.
  • A table with one column is a list; a table with one row is a sentence.
