Tabs hold alternatives: the same instructions for different systems, languages or plans. Readers see only the tab they pick, so the page stays short.
Ubuntu

Most panels have a Select PHP version page. Tick these extensions there:
- mbstring

When to use tabs
- Use tabs when a reader needs only one of the options.
- Use steps when they need to do all of it, in order.
- Keep tab titles short and parallel: three systems, three languages, three plans.
Note
A tab can hold paragraphs, lists, code, images and tables. Callouts, diagrams and other tabs go outside it.
